Cons: I have some concerns about the current setup in Smartsheet India. From my perspective, there appears to be a significant level of favoritism and internal politics influencing decisions across multiple levels of the organization. Additionally, some of the recent hiring decisions raise questions about role fit and overall quality, especially in cases where experienced resources seem to have been replaced with less experienced talent. This, combined with challenges in the HR and recruiting processes, is impacting team effectiveness and overall morale. I believe that unless these areas—particularly transparent decision-making, hiring standards, and organizational alignment—are addressed, they could pose risks to long-term success.

Long process - got into three interviews over the span of one and a half months. But the interviewers were pretty chill. You’ll have HR screw, two live coding sessions. Once those are done then you’ll be sent an invite to loop interview where you’ll speak with engineers ( not sure how many interviews in that loop)

Please avoid Smartsheet at all costs. They do not respect candidates’ time. I was contacted for interviews, completed four rounds, and was explicitly told that an offer would be released. Afterward, they delayed the process, saying they were waiting for other roles to be onboarded together. Eventually, they stopped responding altogether no updates, no feedback, and no replies to follow-ups. This was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend Smartsheet to anyone.

The first round had a lot of questions - SQL, product sense, Python, and one Metric round with questions around all of them. I answered all within the time allotted in each segment, but still received an - thank you for applying mail so don't have idea what went wrong
