Ok for short term career
Pros: Small org, quick turn around , quick decisions , project based hiring , more of staffing work!
Cons: It’s a PE firm, most ex TCS business leadership members work as profit mercenaries , even to the extent of routing PE money to their personal accounts by using the various weak links in processes , including their associates at right places and leaking funds at various touch points ! There is no audit in this company , everyone has own set of people and funds , while enjoying the later years of career being parked here in this company !
Great culture and supportive leadership, but no transport options
Pros: I joined ThoughtFocus in Finance department after working in the Big 4. At first, I was not sure whether I would like working here or if it was the right move for my career to move from BIg4 . However, after joining, my opinion changed completely.
The work culture is one of the best parts of ThoughtFocus. People are friendly, supportive, and work-oriented. Everyone is willing to collaborate and help each other, which makes the workplace positive and enjoyable.
I have gained a lot of knowledge by working on various proejcts and learning from experienced colleagues. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and encourages employees to grow.
I have also seen good growth in my salary and career. Compared to my previous experience, I feel I have received better learning opportunities, more collaboration, and a healthier work-life balance.
Overall, I am happy to be part of ThoughtFocus and would recommend it to anyone looking for a company with a great culture, supportive leadership, and opportunities to learn and grow.
Cons: No Transportation facilities available for Finance department
Pros: I was sceptical of joining due to the reviews when I was offered but post joining it's been close to 2 years and my experience has been good under guidance of good leaders. Lot of AI adoption and legacy modernization work happening.Enjoying my work and getting to learn. Get all the support to try new ways of execution.
Cons: Job security, which is nowadays there everywhere.
Interview with colleagues from HR department/HRBPs felt more like an interrogation and few questions were not making sense. They were also interested in my last salary and asked about my expectations. It felt unprofessional as they were not the hiring managers for the role. As the role was based out of different city, their approach towards questioning felt like they were discouraging me from even trying.

Had an interview for Collateral/Margin Derivatives; discussed my experience in trade life cycle, SWIFT messaging, DTCC processes, OTC products, and explained differences and conversions between futures and forwards.
