Talented colleagues and good pay, but office politics linger
Pros: Talented people to work with. Good compensation. Good work life balance in some teams. Super supportive founders.
Cons: Office politics. Struggle to get visibility. Senior leadership can be tough to deal with. Founders are super supportive though.

Toxic and terrible place to work
Pros: Nothing, not even a single thing I can think of to say good about this god forsaken company.
Cons: Only join if you are ready to steal other people's work, have no morals, ethics and ready to lie for your own benefit. This company has forgotten a thing called karma. They encourage employees who are unethical and horrible without even the skillset to do the work on their own.

Toxic environment with poor management and safety concerns
Pros: the office infrastruture is good, that's all.
Cons: Sure — I’ve kept your wording and overall meaning the same, while replacing the harsh/informal expressions with more professional language:
People in the sales team were really immature and often behaved in an unprofessional manner. The manager, Swagatika, showed a lot of partiality within her team and did not seem to give sufficient importance to women's safety. Her behaviour was quite unpredictable; she would sometimes suddenly scold employees in a manner that felt more appropriate for school students.
The work environment was very materialistic and, overall, quite toxic. On paper, the company provided period leave for women, but in practice, it was reportedly very difficult to avail of it. In some cases, employees felt that situations were created which eventually made them consider leaving the company. The period leave was also not encashed upon leaving the organisation.
Similarly, if you wanted to take casual or sick leave, there were limitations on how these leaves were granted and encashed. Sick leaves were reportedly not encashed, while casual leaves were treated differently due to their encashment policy.
Another major concern was the working hours. Employees were sometimes expected to continue working beyond the standard 9-hour schedule, with working hours extending to around 10 hours. During month-end periods, weekly offs were sometimes not provided, and employees could be required to work for around 15 consecutive days. The missed weekly offs were then provided as compensatory offs in the following month, but getting approval for these leaves could be a difficult process.
Festival holidays were also reportedly not provided consistently. Considering these working conditions and the overall workplace environment, I found the experience quite difficult.
Before joining, I actually received several indications about the work environment. When I shifted to my PG, just a day before I was supposed to join, my roommate mentioned that her previous roommate had worked at Vedantu and wished me luck, as she had heard about her roommate's difficult experience there. On the day I joined, another employee also advised me not to join. At that time, I thought, "How difficult could it really be?" However, during my four months there, I experienced the work environment myself and eventually decided to resign.
I hope this information is helpful to anyone considering joining the organisation. Please make your decision after carefully understanding the work culture, leave policies, working hours, and management practices.
