Anmol Feeds forayed into the animal feed industry with a single unit in Muzaffarpur, Bihar in the year 2000. Since then, the group has consistently expanded its production capabilities and marketing channels with the right quality measures. We now cater to the animal feed requirements of 19 states of India working with more than 10,000 farmers and 1,000 employees. Timely and faultless product delivery, providing technical services, after sales support and responsiveness to consumer feedback is a priority for us. We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company with our corporate office in Kolkata and manufacturing units in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Haryana, and Karnataka. Having become one of the leading names in poultry feed, and an emerging name in cattle and aqua feed, we believe in continuous advancement. Pros: The company provides Good salary and good location
Cons: Expectation like magician, culture is very fragile
View on GlassdoorPros: Work not taxing No heavy tasks
Cons: No professional growth Too strict environment
View on GlassdoorPros: 1. Like other “Lala Companies”, they don’t delay salaries. 2. You can negotiate well, if you have strong brands on your Cv, they want to hire people from their aspired brands at any cost.
Cons: 1. No vision and strategy, although they talk about it a lot. 2. Bottleneck of the business is MD himself, and he doesn’t realises this. “Ab billi ke gale mei ghanti kaun baandhe?” 3. None of employees (Top to bottom) have any authority except MD. 4. There is no courage, risk appetite and foresight, although MD shows off a lot and people around him praise him willingly and unwillingly……(everybody is concerned about their job security). 5. MD doesn’t respect people (although he pretend), and consider people (employees/dealers/customers) as slave, with time one realises this if he closely observe MD’s attitude, behaviour and way of talking. 6. Anything can be changed at any given point of time whether it’s situation, people, position, profile, place, product, decision, policy, thoughts, ideas, almost everything…..without any prior discussion or information. 7. MD has unstable thought process and very poor in decision making. 8. Hire and fire culture is there and hence employee retention and sustainability is a big area of concern, at all the levels. 9. Average tenure of leadership position is approx 2 years, (you can think about situation of junior positions) couple of people are exception, for some other reasons. 10. High tenured people have attitude of “who need learnings, i don't, huh” 11. MD has “Zero” commitment value. 12. MD doesn’t trust anybody, except 2-3 tenured associates who have been sitting at top positions just because they are loyal to him, competency is not the criteria for him. 13. MD doesn’t follow hierarchy channel, there is a high possibility that somebody is his informer who is in your team/interdepartmental person. 14. You can’t rely on your colleagues/interdepartment too, one can do anything to secure his position and gain “brownie points”. 15. Ambitions are really good and one should always try to reach his goals, but with practical approach and business acumen, and by strengthening their strengths and working on weaknesses but here MD always try to ignore “area of improvements” which can help organisation to grow, he is always boosting his vague narratives and try to showcase his company as “greatest” among all, he doesn’t stop here, he also always try to demean key players/industry leaders whose profits are bigger than Anmol Feeds’ total turnover. A weird fake ego! 16. MD gets influenced and carried away easily, you can call him “Kaan ka Kachcha”. 17. MD and his loyal employees aka old guards feel a lot of chest pain when they have to pay salaries and other reimbursements to the employees, especially in off season. 18. “Salary Hold” is favourite game of MD. 19. This is a pure “Lala Company” aka “Dukaan”, don’t fall into trap of “organisation”. If you are looking for a professional environment, this place is not for you. If you wish to learn and grow, this place is not for you. One can treat this as stopover if you are really desperate to leave your current job, you can try here, but don’t expect and plan more than 1-1.6 years that too if you consider yourself lucky. Above all has been written basis personal observations and experience with the intention to help other people with right insights. Still if somebody has different opinion or get influenced by someone from Anmol Feeds; i wish them luck…. “Melody khao khud jaan jaao”
