Supportive team with challenging workload during peak times
Pros: GyanSys provides a collaborative work environment with ample opportunities to learn and grow. I had the opportunity to work on strategic enterprise accounts, interact with senior leadership, and gain hands-on experience with Salesforce, SAP Fieldglass, and sales operations. The team is supportive, and ownership is encouraged
Cons: The workload can be challenging during peak periods, but it contributes to strong professional development.
Yes-men culture, overworked teams, and toxic micromanagement
Pros: There are a few smart and good people on the rolls, but unfortunately they don't last long. You can learn if you get a chance to work with them.
A few projects and client assignments are really good, both from a technical and cultural point of view. You pick up good learnings, and if your client manager is good, you get ownership and recognition.
Cons: 1. Top management consists entirely of "yes-men" who tell the CEO only what he wants to hear. Disagreeing with the CEO is a career dead-end, and critical feedback is ignored. Because it’s a private company with a board dominated by family and close associates, there is zero accountability.
2. The company lacks basic structure; processes and roles shift on a whim whenever the CEO visits. During his visits, employees are even forced to come in on Saturdays just to attend his town halls.
3. They overpromise their clients when trying to win projects but are incapable of delivering them on time. They just want to staff people in as many projects as possible to get them 100% or more billable.
4. Very few holidays, and if you take a day off, they reduce your utilisation for that day, due to which your KPI is affected. So, people are in effect incentivised to not take leaves. They have no concept of leaves carrying forward since they don't want to pay for it during FnF.
5. Do not trust the good reviews! The company itself coordinates all the 5-star ratings on Glassdoor and other platforms. You can make it out by looking at the dates and the designation of the person writing it. They make the GETs have a review bombing session to improve the company's image and to attract talent.
6. There is no proper training program or structure here. It is a very reactive process. If you want to get certified in anything, they will make you first sign a bond of 1 year wherein, if you leave the company within 1 year, you will have to pay. They won't pay for the certification but will reimburse you (which will again be lesser due to tax) once you complete the certification.
7. The only ones thriving are the family members and relatives because they wouldn't survive anywhere else.
Pros: No pros to write about in the current environment..the best managers have all left
Cons: No clarity on vision, run by yes men who talk nonsense and give false promises to the customer..VP Delivery is a cartoon with no vision, the best of the managers have left..no job security..
They keep lying with the clients about resourcing..
Supportive environment with room for improvement in pay and clarity
Pros: Good work environment with supportive colleagues and management. Provides opportunities to learn new skills, work on diverse projects, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The company encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Cons: Career advancement opportunities could be more clearly defined, and compensation could be more aligned with market standards. Communication across teams and project planning could also be improved to reduce delays and changing priorities.
