Small festive perks don't make up for poor management and lack of structure
Pros: The company organizes small onsite gatherings for festive occasions. They are willing to put a small budget toward these events, usually providing some basic food or small gifts for the staff.
Cons: Poor communication from upper management frequently leaves teams misaligned. The current manager prioritizes personal favoritism over performance, often singling out specific team members for unfair criticism while protecting others. The environment feels manipulative, and the lack of professional accountability makes it a challenging place to sustain a career. Also, the unstructured management and vague job scopes are major red flags, leading to constant confusion and inefficiency. Of course, your experience will depend heavily on the manager you are assigned, as there is a significant gap between the company’s capable leaders and those who lack basic management competency. On a side note, unless you are content with a stagnant career and just want a steady paycheck, this is not the right company for you
