Partial management, poor treatment on exit
Pros: Stable, steady work and consistent project assignments over the years.
Cons: Management is partial - decisions on visibility, credit, and opportunities are driven by favoritism rather than merit. After almost 4 years in the role, my resignation was met with total indifference; my manager never had a single conversation with me about it. No exit conversation, no acknowledgment, just silence. It left a lasting negative impression of how the company treats people on their way out.
The interview was well-structured with an ideal length and appropriate scale that allowed for a natural flow of conversation without feeling rushed or overwhelming. The interviewer provided insightful and practical advice on future career prospects, which was genuinely motivating and helped clarify potential growth paths in the industry. While some questions were straightforward, others were slightly more challenging and tested deeper problem-solving skills, creating a balanced experience overall. It was a positive and enriching session that left me feeling more prepared and enthusiastic about the opportunity.
