Good exposure and learning, but delayed compensation issues
Pros: Good exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP and real client projects. Opportunities to develop technical and domain knowledge. Some teams have supportive colleagues and good learning opportunities.
Cons: Appraisal/increment and PLI payments are consistently delayed by around 4–5 months. Although the process is discussed around April, the actual financial benefit may come only around September/October. This is important for candidates to consider before joining because it affects financial planning and career decisions. In my experience over the past 3–4 years, this delay has been a recurring pattern rather than an occasional issue. Compensation after the appraisal can also be lower than the market level for comparable roles. During the hiring process, the company is presented as a learning-oriented organization, but in actual day-to-day work there can be limited opportunities for new learning, with employees often focused on routine or existing support/maintenance work. Saturday working is another concern. Compared with many IT companies that follow a 5-day working week, the additional working day can affect work-life balance. The combination of delayed compensation, a long notice period and the working schedule can make employees think carefully before making a job change.
