Toxic clique and inward thinking
Pros: The benefits are decent, and your travel expenses will feed you very good when you inevitably realize you can't go home for dinner because leadership has guaranteed you and your mates will work overtime because they can't say no to their biggest customers.
Cons: The culture is an echo chamber. Leadership acts like no other company exists, endlessly celebrating our internal "way of doing things" while completely ignoring how modern industry actually operates. If you weren’t hired ten years ago with the core clique or a buddy of the manager expect to feel like an outsider sitting at the middle-school lunch table.
