Stability comes with extreme work pressure and no leave
Pros: Stable company. Automotive Giant. If you achieve DPM/DPO level, salary, facilities and perks at par with an IAS/IPS with little answerability. Engg has lots of exposure overseas. Excellent medical facilities for some divisions.
Cons: 24*7 working. No holidays, No leaves on Holi,Diwali, No leave for hospitalization of yourself or your family, no leave for bereavement, self marriage, marriage in families. Weekly reviews on Sunday mornings, Sunday afternoons. Meetings on Diwali nights. Travel and conveyance claims settled after lots of persuasion. You don't have a friend's circle or social life due to work pressure. Manpower kept at 10% of sanctioned strength to reduce costs. Poor grades to people working 16 hrs a day for 365 days with no trainings or incentives
