1 telephonic round + 3 rounds of interviews which included cultural fitment round as well. First round was highly technical and included situational questions. Final round was with Head of HR.
Sample questions
I applied through Naukri on April 2026. I was unable to clear the technical round and therefore missed the opportunity. I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know whether Planview has a cooling-off period before a candidate can reapply for another position.
Sample questions
There were 3 rounds of interview 1st GD it was good And managed well. 2. Technical avg time they took like 10-15 mins. 3. HR I couldn't clear technical round.
I was contacted by Planview HR for the Sr. Software Engineer I – Automation role. Initially, I was informed there would be two rounds: 1. Technical 2. Technical + Managerial • Round 1 (Technical): Went smoothly. • Round 2 (Expected Managerial): Ended up being another technical round as the manager didn’t join. • After this, I was informed the position was on hold. About a month later, the same HR reached out again to check my continued interest, and I was scheduled for the actual managerial round (Round 3). • Round 3 (Managerial): This was a comprehensive discussion covering the team, responsibilities, salary expectations, long-term commitment, and even onsite opportunities. It ended on a positive note with an assurance that HR would update me on next steps. Later that same week, a different HR contacted me unexpectedly to schedule a 4th round. • Round 4 (Final): This round included two panelists – the same manager from Round 3 (who didn’t speak at all) and a delivery manager who asked some technical questions. The round felt brief, disconnected, and lacked clear purpose. ⸻ Final Outcome: Post-round 4, there was no update. Despite following up via email, I received no response. Eventually, I contacted the original HR who confirmed that the team decided not to move forward with my profile.
Sample questions
I had a very pleasant experience interviewing for the Manager, Software Engineering position at Planview. The entire process was well-structured, transparent, and engaging, making it one of the best hiring experiences I've had. ✅ Clear Communication: The recruiters kept me informed at every stage, ensuring there was no ambiguity in the process. ✅ Well-Designed Interview Rounds: Each round was thoughtfully planned, covering technical, leadership, and cultural aspects relevant to the role. ✅ Insightful Discussions: The interviewers asked meaningful questions that encouraged problem-solving and leadership thinking rather than just technical recall. ✅ Respect for Candidate’s Time: Scheduling was flexible, and all discussions were conducted professionally and on time. ✅ Constructive Feedback: I appreciated the genuine feedback shared post-interviews, making the process feel more like a two-way conversation than a traditional evaluation. Overall Experience: The process was thorough but not exhausting, with a strong focus on aligning candidates with the company’s culture and expectations. Everyone I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming, which left a great impression about Planview as an employer.
