Interview Experience – AI/ML Intern (Level 1) at SuperSourcing I attended the interview process for the AI/ML Intern - Level 1 position at SuperSourcing. The overall experience was smooth, and the interview environment was positive and professional. The process involved three rounds of interviews: First Round (Face-to-Face with Domain Expert): This round focused on my technical knowledge. The interviewer asked questions related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and MongoDB. Additionally, I was assigned a practical task that required performing CRUD operations and creating a prompt-based application. Second Round (CEO Interaction): In this round, I was interviewed by the CEO of the company. He asked why I wanted to join SuperSourcing, why I chose Python for AI/ML development, and whether I was comfortable with the unpaid internship. I explained my passion for the field and my interest in gaining hands-on experience. Third Round (Final Selection): During the final round, I was informed that I had been selected. They asked whether I could join immediately, and I confirmed my availability. However, despite being selected, I had to decline the offer due to academic reasons. I recently transferred from B.Sc (CS-AIML) to B.Tech (CSE) under UGC’s NEP 2020 guidelines. As part of the transition, I am required to study additional subjects that were not mapped during the equivalency process, which made it difficult for me to commit to the internship at that time.
Sample questions
The HR team and interviewer was professional and proactive in reviewing my resume and skills. After that, they decided to move forward with the interview and asked for my availability. I mentioned that I could be available on sat or after office hours or during lunch hours, and they were not okay with the sat or after office hours, they agreed for break time. However, it seemed like they were expecting me to be either in the office or at home, equipped with all the necessary tools like a laptop and headphones. In my opinion, it would be better if interviews were scheduled on weekends to avoid such logistical issues. before the interview, they inquired about my salary expectations. Unfortunately, they later I get to know that they were declining my profile due to a hidden budget issue, citing that my qualifications did not match the role requirements. However, I had clearly outlined my skills and experience in my resume, so this explanation seemed unclear.
