On campus hiring. First was Aptitude and Technical test. It had 30 questions in 30 minutes. Easy test with basic aptitude mostly quant, then it had situational and technical question more like what will you do if there is this technical issue. The next round was on site in their company. It was again a test of 20 minutes with 2 easy coding question on string and array. We had to simply type the code on a text box, not on IDE. We had an AI section which had deep AI concepts and required moderate knowledge of AI. Another section was ML where we were asked about testing, training a model, how will I handle deployment if model accuracy is 60%, etc. This on company test had students from different campuses too. After this test, there was a technical interview in which they mostly focused on the resume. As my resume had one AI project with Mern full stack, the questions were about how exactly I used AI, what do I know about it. The role was AI Research intern, so they asked me about different AI I know and how can I use them. Then I was asked about how I feel about the company, it's work culture, how did I feel about this hiring process and if I were to replace one part of this complete hiring process with AI, what would that be and why? After this technical interview, 4 candidates went for the final HR round which was basically just general HR questions and internship schedules, career opportunity, stipend breakup, etc. All 4 we're given the offer letter. This HR round was more like a final chat to make clear communication and not to shortlist or eliminate candidate. Which I liked the most about this company.
Sample questions
The process was good and smooth. The HR was helpful and the process was fast. 3 to 4 rounds of interview. Also HR ensuring smooth on boarding. Screening , Technical interview, Managerial round. This was the process of 2022. The process might have changed now.
Sample questions
I have applied for audio programmer but i got my interview process for junior game programmer. I had my interview for 15-20 minutes, in the google meet. As the same they asked for Introduction at first and then asked about my game project. Specifically how I implemented gravity, how did I manage audio in my game and Why do i used raylib library rather than GUI. Then they step into C++ and asked me about Copy and Move Constructors, Templates, How memory alloacation works, Difference b/w malloc and new and how do we construct/initialize a class/struct after allocating memory using malloc.
Sample questions
Quite straight forward process, HR call to talk about the role and company. Followed by a phone screening mainly talking about C++ concept like lamba, rvalue, lvalue, cast. Followed by a tech round focusing on code, DS and Algo. Next was techno managerial round, more tech question but no coding, situational and behavioral questions and project discussion.
Sample questions
Asked about the games I played, platforms which I played on. Some test scenarios about the games I played. Played a game there and they asked me to list the bugs I observed, what steps did you do for the bug to happen.
