Before Information Technology Manager II joined the call, the interview had just started and it was going smoothly. Then Information Technology Manager I asked about a few Azure PAAS services where I don't have any experience on it. Later Information Technology Manager II jumped in to it and said they need these services for the current position. If those services are primarily required for the current position, then it must be added into the JD or best on your requirements and as well as a smooth hiring process.

The interviewer will tell about himself and about company. Later most of questions will be from technical. About your past role, the tools are you working, about microsoft office, little bit networking, how to get ip address. Etc. be prepared for 1 hour. If you are explaining good the interview will go for 1 hour. Any if you are coming from service desk and technical support it will be very easy to crack the interview. Or else it might be very difficult for you. As it's global service desk role, 1st priority will be communication skills. If you are so good in communication and little bit in technical you will crack it.

For an organization as big as Arrow, you'd expect a professional and transactional conversations, my communication with the HR was absolutely unprofessional. Her tone was unkind, her questions felt like interrogation and she absolutely did not care about the candidate experience. HRs are suppose to be the face of the company, I was glad I rejected this offer even though I was really excited to speak with them, the onus on gaps in my resume seemed to have been a major concern when the HR found the profile on a job listing profile and reached out to me herself, there were two rounds of interview, the first one was great, probably it was great because the person was new to the company. The second one was with a leader in marketing, the person was horrible, there wasnt one question about how I could contribute to the company, it was more about nitty gritties of the resume itself. The leader boasted about toxic hustle culture like that was the selling point of the role. Major red flags all around.

During the interview, the panel meticulously examined my resume, placing particular emphasis on my experiences and skills related to AI, LangChain, Databricks, and Azure tools. I articulated my expertise by providing in-depth explanations of AI-driven projects, highlighting how I leveraged LangChain for building advanced language models. I discussed utilizing Databricks for scalable data engineering and analytics, demonstrating my ability to handle, preprocess, and analyze large datasets efficiently. Additionally, I showcased my proficiency with various Azure services, such as Azure Machine Learning and Azure Data Factory, to orchestrate and deploy end-to-end AI solutions. My clear articulation of these technical competencies and practical project experiences left a strong impression, leading to a positive outcome in the interview process.
