Extremely poor job security and lack of transparency
Pros: I don't have anything to say
Cons: Extremely poor job security and lack of transparency. My experience with Beo Software was unfortunately very disappointing. I joined the company on 18 May after being strongly encouraged by the HR/recruitment team to take an early release from my previous organization. However, within the second week of joining, there were already signs of uncertainty regarding the project and my position. Despite this uncertainty, I continued with the expectation that the company would have alternative opportunities or a backup plan if the client project changed. Unfortunately, on 18 June — approximately one month after I joined — the project and my position were terminated due to issues on the client side.( They given 3 month notice period ) I understand that client-related project cancellations can happen and are not always directly under the company's control. However, what was particularly disappointing was the lack of an effective contingency plan for employees affected by such situations. Concerns about alternative opportunities During this period, I was also given the impression that there could be an opportunity to move into a different position within the company's product team. I relied on those discussions when considering my next steps. However, that opportunity was subsequently withdrawn, and I was ultimately informed that they were not able to accommodate me. As a result, I ended up with an extremely short employment period of around 4 months, despite leaving my previous company based on the opportunity presented to me. The biggest concern is the impact this has on an employee's career. A four-month employment record can create questions for future employers about frequent job changes or stability, even when the employee was not responsible for the termination. In my case, this was particularly frustrating because I had made a significant career decision based on the opportunity offered by the company. Job security I would strongly recommend that candidates joining Beo Software ask very specific questions before accepting an offer: Is the position tied to a particular client project? What happens if the client terminates or reduces the project? Is there a genuine internal bench or redeployment process? Are alternative positions actually available if the project ends? How many employees have been redeployed after previous client project closures? Is the position part of the company's product team or dependent on a client engagement? Do not assume that a large number of long-tenured employees or impressive LinkedIn posts necessarily represent the stability of every project or position. Employees who have been with the company for 15–20 years may belong to different teams, legacy projects, or the product organization, so their experience may not reflect the situation of someone joining a new client-facing project.
