Toxic leadership 101
Pros: Nothing at all sorry guys
Cons: A CEO who appears willing to destroy anything in his path to get what he wants and maintain his billion-dollar relationship with Dr. Mulholland. He claims to be building a “high-performance” culture, yet his actions tell a very different story. Plans are constantly changed, people are deceived and kept in the dark, and there seems to be a willingness to undermine or destroy anyone who gets in his way when the opportunity arises.

Toxic environment with high turnover and poor management
Pros: There are no pros to this company. Maybe just the free snacks but that doesn’t outweigh all the negatives
Cons: This place is awful. I joined the company and was quickly on-boarded with about 10 other people. Expectations are high which is fine- I have worked in tech for a long time so I get the fast pace and sales pressure environment. However this place is a revolving door of new employees. Out of the 10 that on boarded, 8 were quickly fired within the first week. The remaining 2 kept going for a bit more but we were also quickly dismissed for no apparent reason. The funny thing about all this, is that after I was fired, a new recruiter from Boomerangfx reached out to me asking if I would be interested in joining the organization as they are actively looking for Account Executives lol. They fired me and now a new recruiter from their organization is asking if I am interested in applying for the same role that I was fired from. It’s a big no thank you!!
My advice to you is stay away from this place. If you have a job don’t leave it for this place- You will regret your decision. If you are unemployed, perhaps consider joining only to experience this place for yourself and maybe get in a good laugh or two at how ridiculous and mismanaged this place is.

Exploitative: Senior Demands, Junior Pay, Hidden Targets & High Pressure
Pros: They are good at writing ambitious job descriptions filled with big words about global expansion, employer branding, data analytics, and leadership partnership. They talk a lot about fast growth, upcoming IPO, and stock options. That is the only positive thing I can honestly say. Everything else is designed to attract desperate or hopeful people and then squeeze them.
Cons: BoomerangFX posts Talent Acquisition Specialist and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist roles that require genuine senior-level work: partnering directly with leadership, building workforce strategy, running full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior positions, managing stakeholder relationships, driving employer branding, tracking and reporting hiring data, optimizing processes, and supporting rapid global expansion toward IPO. For this level of responsibility in Mississauga they offer a base salary of $45,000–$60,000 for the regular level and $60,000–$75,000 for the Senior level. That pay is not competitive. It is deliberately low for the work required.
The official commission structure looks simply: $500 per role filled and an extra $1,000 only if you close 10 roles in a month. In reality people are told the actual expectation is closing 1 or 2 roles every single week. That is a significantly higher and more aggressive target than what appears on the job posting. When the weekly number is missed, pressure begins. The company never writes the real consequences down because they understand the legal risk, but the message is delivered clearly through management behavior: hit the number or face the consequences.
The culture has been described by multiple people as closed and dominated by one group, with almost no meaningful diversity. There is a consistent pattern of unspoken demands that go far beyond the job description and a style of pressure that stays off the record. Stock options only become available after six months and function mainly as a retention tool to keep people working under these conditions longer.
This is not a high-growth opportunity presented honestly. It is a structure designed to attract candidates with ambitious language and then extract high-volume senior output at low cost while keeping the harshest expectations unofficial. The difference between what is written and what is actually required is not a misunderstanding. It is the model.
