Power BI Everywhere, Competence Nowhere.

Pros: Great pay. Good Cab service. Nice office infrastructure.

Cons: A lot of teams seem to be figuring out what they’re supposed to be doing—or, in some cases, whether they have anything meaningful to do at all. Some roles appear to have little to no workload, while line managers themselves could clearly use some management training. Apparently, almost everyone works on Power BI; the only real difference seems to be the job title. Add micromanagement, weak communication, and a generous amount of ego at the senior-management level, and it’s not particularly surprising that the company continues to fall behind. At some point, job titles, hierarchy, and Power BI dashboards can’t compensate for the lack of effective leadership and direction.
