The interview process was quite good and straightforward. All the interviewers were amazing. After resume shortlisting, they will contact you for the first interview, which is a "Screening Call." After that, there will be a behavioural interview and then a technical round. The whole process takes a few weeks. You must have your basics clear on how web applications work as well as have full understanding of vulnerabilities as there are primarily scenario-based questions, so just learning definitions won't work
Sample questions
- 1. Screening call: Expect questions like Skills you bring to the table, Salary expectations, Experience in web security, Why bugcrowd etc etc
- 2. Behavioural Interview: The questions will be mostly scenario based like If you have a conflict with a colleague/client/manager, how would you handle the situation? Tell me about a time .... , Your failures, What are you hoping to achieve in this role. and other similar questions
- 3. Techincal: They will ask about a certain vulnerability and then give you examples and ask you create a payload for this. They will also provide you with sample vulnerability reports and ask you to triage them with CVSS. There will be other scenarios like "If this happens, is this a vulnerability? and you will have to explain your answer" How DNS and other backend systems work. In short you will need deep and clear understanding of web applications working as well as vulnerabilities
