My experience thru out the interview was good it was basically in terms of two rounds one virtual and final in person both were good , got immense amount of experience like faced the questions that was never expected
Sample questions
OA,Then GD,One on one Interview. Process was smooth, but before you go to the interview make sure you know about Computer Networks and some system design apart from you resume .Be confident.
Sample questions
There were 4 rounds: 1) Online Assessment: This was a multiple choice test with around 7 or 8 sections. The sections were Logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, english, HTML5, Javascript, Cloud Computing, SQL, Programming. The questions were mostly fact based and simple output prediction questions for the SQL and Programming sections. Almost everyone made it to the next round. The duration was 2 hours with exactly 15 min for each section which cannot be carried forward 2) Coding Test 45 mins. 2 questions The questions were simple even though they were worded elaborately. For me the 1st question essentially was to find all the elements that were inside a given range in a given array. Around half the candidates made it to the next round. 3) Interview In person interviews where we were mainly asked questions about our resume along with some SQL questions and OOP questions. The SQL questions were `GROUP BY` questions and the OOP questions were fact based. But the resume questions were thorough. They also tried to match us with interviewers who had experience in projects mentioned in our resume so people who had clarity about their projects were selected. Some people also had to give a second interview for this reason but all of them were selected. They also asked some HR type questions like 'What do you want to be?', 'Why do you want to join Caterpillar' etc. The interviewers were friendly. Interview was around 30-40 mins. 4) Group Discussion Round This was a formality. Usually they conduct this round before the interview but the did this because there was no time for an HR interview round. Everyone who made it to this round was given offer.
Round 1 - Online Assessment - On Campus Recruitment Contained like 8 Sections - Non Technical 3 sections , Instrumentation Engineering , Semiconductor based Qns , Electronics Engineering Section , Pseudo Code Based Qs, C Programming section , C++ Programming Section. Each section had like 15 to 20 Qns. All were MCQs
Sample questions
Round 1: MCQs Round 2: Coding(2Qs) Round 3: Written Exam on 2dsa and 2 sql + Interview The interview consists of the written exam review and cs fundamentals and projects
