The interview process was one of the most structured and thorough I've experienced. Each round had a clear purpose from the initial screening to the technical and behavioral stages and it never felt redundant or disorganized. You could tell there was deliberate thought behind how the rounds were sequenced.
Sample questions
The interview process started with an online aptitude and technical assessment covering logical reasoning, networking, operating systems, Linux, cloud fundamentals, and troubleshooting. Candidates who cleared the test attended a technical interview focused on problem-solving, basic system administration, and real-world scenarios. The final discussion assessed communication skills, willingness to work in rotational shifts, and overall cultural fit.
Sample questions
I got a call from the HR of chargebee. I got this interview through referral. I had two rounds of interview both onsite at Chennai office. First round was a simple technical round asked me a Sliding Window Rate Limiter and asked me what was one thing you debugged and solved during my previous experience. Second round was with two senior engineers with 12 years of experience and they asked me about my previous experience, what I did in my previous company, DB schemas, Projects and why did I use them. Overall the interview experience was great. I got ghosted by the HR even though I got assurance that I will get response regardless of the outcome. This is the only negative part which I can say but everything apart from that was great ( office environment, hospitality, interview experience ). A message for the HR: please dont ghost candidates and try to provide them response even if they dont get selected !
Sample questions
It was 5 rounds. 4 technical and 1 culture fit round. 1st round depends on your experience, if you are more than 3 years, then first round will be technical and usually a problem given to solve, if less than 3, then some set of questions involves db, logical and coding tests. 2nd, 3rd & 4th are purely technical and asked for LLD and HLD. Should able to explain your previous experience and project well. Good understanding on the existing projects is must.
Sample questions
The interview process was customer centric and gauges how you handle customers. It was understanding your past experience followed by an assignment round. Post that, all rounds were highly focused on what you know about CB and how customer focused are you.
