They conducted 5 different rounds - 3 of them technical. The last round was even in person. After all the rounds, they told me that they are not able to meet my salary expectations, which I put out clearly right in my first call with the HR.

First there was OA, then technical round 1 related to projects, second round much deeper related to technical concept and finally hr round - basic behaviour questions. It was quite challenging when it came to second round..

The interviewer had asked questions on puzzles and 1 coding question(Finding the first character in a String which appeared only once). They had even asked about projects on my resume and questions on BFS,DFS and few core topics.

Three rounds (Initial round was virtual, then next round was F2F. First 2 rounds were full technical and last round Manager+Technical) After all the rounds done was asked to join 5 days a week and that too on strict timings. Even after agreeing the HR took 2 weeks to say they can’t even offer 20% of the current CTC. A little advice to the Talent Acquisition and HR, if you can’t go with the market standards for the CTC don’t waste candidates time and energy. And before conducting interviews please make sure to get all the details from your Hiring Manager and HR before committing to a candidate.
