Learning opportunity overshadowed by toxic culture
Pros: Great opportunity to learn how much workplace culture can deteriorate while still being described as “professional.” You’ll certainly develop resilience and patience, more so if you are a part of the Carlsberg project.
Cons: Toxic work culture, particularly concerning for female employees. Workplace concerns are not always handled in a way that makes employees feel heard, protected, or comfortable. Communication can feel hierarchical and exclusionary, and raising concerns may leave employees feeling unsupported rather than reassured.

Toxic culture and poor support for women
Pros: If your idea of a good workplace is “join the Carlsberg project so you can flirt with and suffocate female colleagues,” then maybe this is the place for you.
And if you enjoy getting thrown from one team to another every few months without anyone asking what you actually want to work on, then congratulations — you've found your dream workplace.
For women considering joining: please think very carefully before accepting an offer here.
Cons: I spent only around a year here, and somehow managed to be moved across 7–8 different teams.
Not because my skillset changed. Not because I requested it. Simply because the business needed someone somewhere.
Your skillset, career goals and technical interests don't seem to matter much. You can be hired for one profile and then be moved wherever there happens to be a vacancy.
I approached management about my technical growth and the kind of work I wanted to build my career around. The response was basically: “We only have a position in this team, so work here.”
And then comes another team change.
And another.
At some point, you stop wondering, “What technology am I going to learn here?” and start wondering, “Which team am I going to be thrown into next month?”
This kind of resource management can seriously damage someone's technical growth. Instead of developing employees in their areas of expertise, the approach felt more like: “We need someone here, put them here.”
I have honestly never come across such poor management in my entire career.
And then there's the POSH experience.
I raised a formal POSH complaint against someone from the Network Team, supported by call recordings, screenshots and other evidence. The person was found guilty.
And what did the company do afterward?
Put me in the same team as him.
Nobody asked me whether I was comfortable with that arrangement. When I raised it with HR, I was basically told: “He won't talk to you or make eye contact with you. If he does, let us know.”
Honestly, what a brilliant approach to women’s safety. 👏
The HR support was extremely disappointing. Management and internal politics were another story altogether — appraisals, opportunities and even day-to-day work could feel influenced by personal equations and “loyalty.”
And to the management: if POSH is only about completing the process and closing the complaint, then congratulations — you've understood compliance but completely missed the point.
To women considering joining: please think twice.
I eventually chose my self-respect over this workplace and left.
And no, I am not afraid of anyone. My self-respect will always come before any of these so-called uncles who think they can intimidate or silence women.

Celebrating festivals well but lacking recognition and stability
Pros: They only celebrate festivals nicely.
Cons: There is limited recognition for individual contributions, and employees often feel that their efforts are not adequately acknowledged. The company hired extensively when a major beer-brand client was onboarded, but subsequent workforce reductions created concerns about job stability, particularly within this project. Additionally, team allocations and reassignments sometimes appear to be driven more by business requirements than by employees' skills, experience, or career aspirations. Overall, job security and career growth can be challenging in this environment.
