Hilariously toxic work culture with severe burnout and stress

Cons: This review is specifically for SS and team. There is a reason the initials match with the infamous paramilitary of the Nazi Germany. I have seen that the other teams despise this team due to the harrowing work practices they follow. The other teams might have their flaws as well, but this one takes the cake and the baker with the bakery. This team has no particular work charter. They work on pure optics. They have low quality projects running for years at the end to ensure that they have something to show. The team members are either fainting physically, having mental breakdowns, insomnia or simply are going through bad relationships due to the work culture here. I sometimes felt this was pathetically intentional to gain some sympathy in the long run. You are not supposed to have a life outside of work. You just can't (8AM to 8PM work day even if have nothing to do). As people calling the shots don't have one, they have made this job their entire life and that's what they expect out of you as well. What's more pathetic is that such behaviour is encouraged. That's why it works like a charm. People are put on PIPs to make them learn lessons to not take sick leaves and then these PIPs are extended endlessly citing busy work schedules and a paucity of time to review the cases Language is jargoned to an extent that you'll pull your hair out trying to interpret, what they are trying to mean with a work assignment or anything in general. Re-working is glorified in the name of perfection, which usually is just beautification of presentations. Nothing material seeps through. Projects are shelved most of the times because of this vanity. HR is just a puppet In the true spirit of a typical toxic workplace, breaks are monitored, work promotions and increments are delayed, talent and enthusiasm is systematically crushed. Honestly at times, I couldn't blame them. The backgrounds & pedigrees they had was just not good enough to warrant new age innovations. Even if it was, there was no will to do good work. It was simply optics management, playing cards which you will despise in a normal setting and using their positions to undermine people. The compensation, SLT and brand name you get is just in exchange of this hilariously humiliating environment. #QueenOfPain
