### Interview Experience: ITC Infotech Interview date: September 2026 Location: Gurgaon Overall experience: Very disappointing I interviewed with ITC Infotech in September 2026 for a role where they were specifically looking for someone with strong Node.js and Elasticsearch experience. The first round was actually a good experience. I cleared it and received positive feedback. The interviewer asked relevant and fairly detailed Node.js questions, including internals, asynchronous programming, scenario-based problems, system design, and scalability. After clearing the first round, I was moved to the client round. Unfortunately, this is where the process became extremely disappointing. The client round was supposed to focus heavily on Elasticsearch. I explained my hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including how and where I had used it and how the technology works. However, the person conducting the round did not appear to have the technical background needed to properly evaluate the discussion. During the conversation, I was told that they would arrange another technical round with one of their developers who could evaluate my Elasticsearch knowledge properly. That round was never scheduled. I followed up multiple times, but received no meaningful response. Not a rejection email, not a status update, and not even a proper explanation of what happened. This is particularly frustrating because I had already cleared the first round and received good feedback. If the company decided not to proceed, that's completely fine. But simply leaving a candidate hanging after multiple rounds is extremely poor candidate communication. The first round gave me a positive impression of the company, but the way the process was handled afterward completely changed that impression. My advice to candidates: Don't assume that clearing a round or receiving positive feedback means the process will actually move forward. The lack of communication after the client round was the most disappointing part of this experience. A simple rejection or status update would have been far more professional than leaving the candidate waiting indefinitely.

There were two technical rounds involving AI, AWS, and Kubernetes knowledge, followed by an HR discussion. After document collection, they asked for my counter-offer details, but since then, no one has cared about the candidate, which is a very disappointing experience I have faced with ITC. Before the interview, I clearly stated my current offer and expected CTC, yet they proceeded with the client interview and are now using budget as an excuse; what the heck?

It was quite easy overall. The interview went very well, and the interviewer asked a few programming questions along with some DSA-related questions. The questions were relevant to the post and tested both technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Took all the rounds . Cleared the interview, Salary discussion took place they made me wait for 2 to 4 weeks and was placed on hold due to org restructuring .

The interview was quite challenging, with most of the questions being scenario-based rather than straightforward theoretical questions. The interviewer focused on real-world situations and expected practical, problem-solving-oriented answers. The questions required a good understanding of the concepts along with the ability to apply them in different scenarios. Overall, the interview was tough and tested both technical knowledge and practical thinking.
