The process started with an online application followed by a technical screening. The technical assessment heavily emphasized production-ready Python (3.10+), strictly typed architectures, and building asynchronous data pipelines using asyncio and aiohttp. There was a strong focus on defensive programming and handling external API failures.

It was a very simple Interview. There was only one question that they asked me. What is one topic that I can talk about forever, and that was all for my English proficiency test.

Super easy interview conducted through AI. Mindrift AI conducts interviews through AI to ask about domain related questions. So one can give an interview instantly or as per when they have time.

I had a very disappointing experience applying to Mindrift. After completing the AI interview stage successfully, I was required to complete identity verification. I submitted a valid government-issued ID and followed all instructions carefully. Later, I received an email stating that my account could not be verified because of “discrepancies in the information provided during registration,” and referencing the need to prevent “fraudulent activities.” However, no explanation was provided about what the discrepancy actually was. When I contacted support for clarification, they refused to provide any details or allow me to correct the issue. The responses were vague and dismissive, which was frustrating as someone who had submitted legitimate identification. Verification systems can make mistakes, but companies should provide transparency and allow applicants to resolve issues. Unfortunately, Mindrift’s onboarding process did not reflect that level of professionalism.

It was an AI Interview, where I was questioned on my previous experience i.e. my internship experience. And also many other core topics related to CSE field and a deep dive into topics in AI field
