Pros: Job security is good as this is a Dutch Company
Cons: Lots of management layers as this follows traditional hierarchy
View on GlassdoorPros: very storng and stable company
Cons: less exposure to latest technologies
View on GlassdoorPros: Supportive and collaborative teammates who were always willing to help. Good learning opportunities while working on challenging projects. Philips has a hybrid work policy, which can provide flexibility in many teams.
Cons: The project suffered from poor planning and unrealistic commitments. Development teams were often not consulted before commitments were made during Program Increment (PI) planning. Work-life balance was poor. Weekend work was frequently required to meet aggressive deadlines and project commitments. The immediate manager demonstrated unprofessional behavior under pressure and often resorted to blame rather than focusing on problem-solving. Contract employees were not treated consistently. Despite the company's hybrid work policy, contract employees were expected to work from the office five days a week. Decision-making within the team was highly centralized, leaving little room for discussion or developer input, which negatively affected team morale and productivity. Management style created unnecessary pressure, making the overall work environment stressful.
View on GlassdoorPros: Good Work life Balance, good work culture.
Cons: Not much perks apart from salary.
View on GlassdoorPros: Good company reputation and interesting internship opportunities. The application process was straightforward and easy to complete.
Cons: I was shortlisted on 16 May2026 , but after more than two months I did not receive any communication from the recruiter or any status update.
