Toxic culture and poor leadership create a hostile environment
Pros: - The HR team is supportive and helpful.
- Other than that, I did not observe any significant positives during my tenure.
Cons: If there were an option to give a 0-star rating on Glassdoor, I would definitely give it to the India tech leadership team.
- There is no respect within teams or across teams. The work culture is highly toxic, and people often communicate in a disrespectful and abusive manner.
- The Security team is especially difficult to work with. They often act as if they are the only team that matters and show little respect for others.
- The CTO comes across as arrogant and constantly tries to make others feel inferior instead of fostering a collaborative environment.
Advice to Prospective Employees:
Think twice before joining this company. If you value a respectful, collaborative, and healthy work environment, this may not be the right place for you.

Good Technical Exposure, Challenged by Leadership Transparency and Fairness
Pros: The company works on meaningful and technically challenging problems, providing good learning opportunities for engineers. Teams are generally skilled, and exposure to modern tools and systems helps build strong professional experience.
Compensation and benefits are competitive for the market, and the company offers flexibility through remote or hybrid work options. The founders vision and long-term goals are strong, and when teams are empowered, there is potential for impactful growth and innovation.
Cons: There are growing concerns around leadership dynamics within the India organization. A small group of senior leaders, including VPs, appears to have significant influence across multiple departments (tech, product, HR), which limits independent decision making and diverse viewpoints.
The move to a remote location felt driven more by internal leadership alignment than business needs, following disagreements with most of the team. Accountability is uneven VPs tend to take ownership during successes, while challenges are often attributed to teams outside the core leadership circle.
Recent policies, such as the 4-day work-from-office mandate, are not applied consistently across employee, creating a perception of favoritism and selective enforcement that often benefits those closely aligned with leadership.
Senior leadership seems disconnected from on ground realities, and recurring management issues are not always transparently shared with founders. Support is often perceived as favoring engineers who closely align with leadership views. These patterns have negatively impacted trust, morale, and overall company culture.
