Bangalore SBS - Culture is being spoiled by incompetent managers
Pros: Flexible work, HR policies are generally favourable
Cons: 1) Politics 2) Scientific teams are being managed by non-scientific managers, SBS is becoming a call center rather than a knowledge hub 3) No opportunity for growth! There is no standard guideline for promotion!! It all boils down to your relationship with your manager 4) Some managers are screwing careers of good employees. There was no skip level meeting, no feedback for manager ! 5) Salary is not up to the industry standard!

Good for people settled in life and don't want challenges
Pros: MNC so employee-friendly policies Friendly people Work-life balance
Cons: Too much internal politics Good for people who want mundane work nature and don't want to learn something new Don't care much about skills, more interested in exploitation salary wise HRs and upper management bend the policies per employee

No Job security
Pros: Work pressure is little bit low compare to other MNCs.
Cons: After Merck acquired they are dropping most sap modules practice ,hence they are removing whole teams . Advice to do not join and do not ruin your work and life. Lot of politics and no recognition for true hard work. No Job security for permenet position as well contract positions. No quality in the events .

IT Department
Pros: Good Company, decent salary. High reputation and Great product portfolio
Cons: IT Department works only on sycopancy. Then CIO was arrogant, rude and stubborn and didn't even a clue of what's SAP is all about. Took irrational decisions based on his favorite Directors who in turn were low rung Managers who became Directors due to CIO's blessings. Most of the talent left the organisation due to their arrogance. My entire team quit

Short and straightforward based on technical competencies and sales management. Interviewer was helpful - there were two of them - sales manager and Country manager both went on to become very close industry friends. There was an HR round as well they discussed my degrees and checked documents before issuing the employment papers. There were negotiations regarding salaries and benefits. Had to go through another round with the reporting manager who was bit unprepared as the original interviewers had made adecision to hire me by then.
