It's a easy interview btw they just tested my problem solving and approaches which is used to solve the problems and they asked me 3 questions two easy and one medium i solved all three and got the offer letter

Honestly it was not fun, i felt the interviewer be stright hostile and hated how much I felt like they were trying to get me to stumble, they wouldn't ask questions from any of my relevant experience and don't seem to understand what mechanical engineering learn in their B.tech and asked me questions like what is a v6 engine and when I explained it they said I was too layman and i should be able to design and manufacturing a v6 engine? are we serious 😭 and in the end of the interview I was genuinely curious so asked them if they were engineers and they were stright offended i had to clarify how I wanted to know what the work experience was for an engineer and stuff but i didn't think this was a question you should take offense to.

First there is nqt on campus on basis of which shortlisted students as the roles assigned ninja/digital/prime give interview as per their roles and then they are shortlisted and final roles are assigned to them.

NQT was on 2nd June. The first section went horrible for me. I could solve only around 2-3 questions. The rest of the sections went pretty well. In coding, I could not solve the easy question, so I partially passed that one. The medium question went much better and I was able to pass all the test cases. Around 790 students appeared for NQT from our college, and 203 were shortlisted for interviews. We were not told which role we were being interviewed for, so I had no idea whether it was Ninja, Digital or Prime.

- HR then asked me to rate myself out of 5 in Java. I said 4 because I know Java fairly well but there are still things I need to learn. Then they asked me a question about a text file in Notepad and how I would import it into Java, read its contents and design the file content. I got a little confused there. I told them that I knew FileReader and BufferedReader are used for this, but I was not completely sure about the exact process since I mostly focus on problem solving.
- After that, they gave me a pattern printing question. The pattern was basically: ********** ******** ****** **** ** ** **** ****** ******** ********** They asked me to code it and explain what I was doing at the same time, basically dry running the logic while writing the code. I was able to do this correctly. Then MR asked me about one of my favorite projects. I explained it, although she seemed more interested in her coffee at that point.
- HR then asked about where I see myself in 5 years and some questions about relocation. I mostly just answered yes to the relocation related questions. At the end, they asked if I had any questions. I asked what kind of projects freshers usually work on. TR and HR answered that question and we ended up talking about it for around 10 minutes.
