Remote work option can't outweigh toxic management
Pros: The only pro was that the job was remote.
Cons: The managers are on the hunt for opportunities to cut the salary. They have absurd rules regarding online hours. They will force you to work outside of client hours for their tasks. They will enforce unnecessary rules irrespective of what the client team is actually demanding of the engineers. These people are literal liars and will make false commitments. They do not even honor the terms they write on their contract. And as soon as a client contract ends, they create such a toxic culture for the employees on that team, that they have to leave the company to avoid going insane. They will underpay the hell out of their employees, and then deduct salaries on not following their absurd rules. These people actually take revenge on their employees, even when they are at a fault. There is no HR Department. These people are the HR department themselves.
