The renewed brand reflects the company’s simplified operational core and continued commitment to advancing businesses and society through technology. Following the divestment of its Tech Services business in September 2025, Tieto today consists of vertical software & services businesses Care, Banking and Industry as well the digital consulting arm Create. Tieto is now building on the embedded strong foundation, including the talent of 14 000 experts around the world. As part of driving its strategic priorities focused on customer first -mindset, simplified core and selective international expansion, Tieto is renewing its brand. The new brand brings to life the energizing and impact-driven approach on technology and considers the company’s heritage as well as geographically expanding footprint by opting for simpler and meaningful Tieto as the company name. Tieto means “data, information, and knowledge” in Finnish. “This is a pivotal time for our company as AI transforms the industry. Our new brand will help us demonstrate our commitment to customer success and energize key initiatives, including improving sales and AI expertise. While looking ahead, we also value our heritage—having operated since 1968 gives our name meaning in an increasingly artificial world. We are ready to begin the next chapter as Tieto, and to be an impact partner for our customers", says Endre Rangnes, CEO. The four businesses are also renamed as follows: Tietoevry Banking to Tieto Banktech Tietoevry Care to Tieto Caretech Tietoevry Industry to Tieto Indtech Tietoevry Create to Tieto Tech Consulting

Sample questions
The interview process began with an initial HR call to discuss my background, experience, and role expectations, followed by a technical interview focused on 5G NR protocol concepts including RACH, uplink scheduling, BSR, and SR procedures.
The interview process initially went smoothly, and I completed the technical round 1 and techno-managerial round. The HR informed me that the feedback was positive and that a final update would be shared after hiring manager approval the next day. However, it has been over two weeks, and I have not received any further communication despite follow-up calls and emails. It would be helpful if candidates are kept informed about the final status, even in case of delays or closure. Overall, the interview experience was good, but communication after the final round could be improved.
I interviewed for the Software Engineer role at Tietoevry. The interview process consisted of a technical round followed by HR communication. The technical interview was detailed and lasted around 50–60 minutes. It covered core concepts such as C#, OOPs, .NET Core, Angular, microservices, and Azure. I was also asked to solve two coding problems, focusing on logic and practical implementation. The interviewer was professional, and the discussion felt relevant to real-world development. The overall technical evaluation was fair and thorough. However, the post-interview communication could be improved. I was informed that feedback was under review, but the process took longer than expected, and updates were not always clear despite follow-ups. Based on my experience and similar reviews, the interview process is technically strong but can be slow in terms of final feedback and communication. Overall, a good technical interview experience, but improvement is needed in response time and transparency after the interview.
Very easy interview it was, mostly they focused on core concepts. For SQL server focused on joins, stored procedure and functions. For Angular asked about services, observable and life cycle hooks.
