No Wonder It’s a Great Place to Work
Pros: I worked here for three years and had a great experience. The work environment is positive, and the managers are very supportive and approachable. I had continuous opportunities to learn and grow professionally throughout my time with the company. The organization offers good benefits, career growth opportunities, and regularly hosts fun activities and events, including cultural celebrations, which make the workplace engaging and enjoyable. Overall, it’s definitely a great place to work.
Cons: Work-life balance can occasionally be challenging during busy periods, and there may be ad hoc changes or last-minute requests depending on business needs. However, the company does recognize the extra effort with overtime benefits when applicable. These situations are fairly common in the industry and were generally manageable.

Good pay and balance, but politics and outdated tech hinder growth
Pros: * Good Pay
* Good Increment
* Good work life balance as there is no big work.
* Good leave policies
Cons: * Most of the projects are support teams.
* Complete politics over the promotion cycles.
* Most of the managers lack people mgmt skills.
* Outdated tech stack as most of the projects are support projects.
* You have to find your own work as mgmt is completely unaware of any of the technical works for the products.
* Definitely say no to long standing careers as you will be outdated in the market.

Great work-life balance and supportive culture
Pros: I had a very positive experience working at Verizon. The salary and benefits were very competitive, and one of the biggest advantages was the work-from-home flexibility, which helped maintain a great work-life balance.
The work culture is supportive, collaborative, and employee-friendly. Management is approachable, and there is minimal unnecessary work pressure, allowing employees to focus on delivering quality work. The leave policies are also excellent, providing enough flexibility for personal and family commitments.
Overall, Verizon is a great organization for anyone looking for a healthy work environment, good compensation, and an excellent work-life balance. I would highly recommend it to others.
Pros:
Competitive salary and benefits
Work-from-home flexibility
Excellent work-life balance
Supportive work culture
Good leave policies
Low work pressure
Cons: None significant during my tenure.
