The interview process was for an internal Business Support team, so the focus was more on problem-solving, communication, and practical data analysis than on difficult coding questions. The process began with a take-home assignment. I was given a dummy employee feedback dataset containing information about why employees chose to stay with or leave the company (push and pull factors). The dataset included open-text responses, so I built an NLP pipeline in Python to analyze the text, extract keywords, identify common themes, and perform sentiment analysis. I then created an interactive Tableau dashboard to visualize the findings, including keyword frequency (word cloud), sentiment trends, and other insights that helped explain the main drivers of employee retention and attrition. The next round consisted of a presentation to the hiring manager and a software engineer. I walked them through my approach, explained the NLP workflow, demonstrated the Tableau dashboard, and discussed the insights I had derived from the data. The discussion focused on my methodology, design decisions, and how I translated raw data into actionable business insights. Following the presentation, the interview transitioned into a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The technical discussion was primarily based on my resume and previous projects, where I was asked to explain the technologies I had used and the reasoning behind my solutions. The behavioral portion focused on situational questions and how my experiences aligned with the company's core values. Overall, the interview was straightforward and well-structured, with a greater emphasis on analytical thinking, communication, and the ability to present insights effectively rather than solving complex algorithmic problems.

The interview was actually most important questions that you see on internet, if prepared well, it's a cakewalk. Also, know your projects, well, for some people they directly went to their GitHub link and asked their project in deep, asking about API endpoints and everything.

Firstly they took online assessment in hacker rank includes mcq's, 1 coding question and 1 SQL question. Then after clearing it then we had technical interview. Then after technical interview then we had HR round. This was the interview process in version 1. It was moderate . The coding questions were moderate.
