SolarSquare Energy

I have gone through three levels first is group discussion and second and third is personal interview round this is physical interview ...all three levels are physical interviews it was a very nice experience

Only want to know whether you are genuinely interested in sales, showing intent and passion. And whether you will be comfortable travelling for meetings and closing potential leads and can relocate to different cities

At SolarSquare we are building the Home-Energy brand of future India. We help homes switch to rooftop solar and move away from traditional coal electricity. We are a full-stack D2C residential solar brand - designing, installing, maintaining (after-sales) and financing solar systems for home- owners across India. In 3 years we have scaled to become the leading residential solar brand in India. We are obsessed with quality, customer service and innovating to make it simple for homes to switch to solar. We are looking for leaders to join us in this mission.

Round 1: Write a Node.js application that provides RESTful GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE APIs to perform CRUD operations on a MongoDB database, handling requests/responses in JSON with proper status codes. Duration of interview - 30 min

HR Round: Calm and professional. HR explained there would be 2 interview rounds. 1st Round: Basic screening by the SVP of the company 2nd Round: Discussion on the company’s direction and technical questions around system design, Node.js architecture, and deep dives into my past experience. 3rd Round: HR said this would be a salary negotiation, but the SVP started another technical round instead. He asked me to write APIs and DB connections for a Node.js application without using Google, npm modules, or any project setup. I requested to write pseudo code instead, which he agreed to. About 15–20 minutes later, the SVP left for another meeting, handing over to an engineering manager, who mostly stayed silent while I completed the pseudo code. After I finished, I explained my logic and scenarios. Pros:- HR was consistently helpful and communicated at every step. Cons:-Technical process felt unstructured and unrealistic (coding without internet or project setup in a “salary negotiation” round). Lack of clear expectations when SVP left mid-round.
