Our story. Confession: it was an in-house project and GeekSquad didn't exist at the time. The project began with major challenges - acquiring quality resources, strenous interviews and months of notice period. No prize for guessing - the project was delayed. There were raised eye-brows all around us. However, the quality of the finished product turned the frown upside-down. Second phase was a different monster. Team occupancy, hiring, budget and timelines posed as primary concerns. Desperate times call for desperate measures. We decided to build and manage a remote team. Suddenly, the world was our canvas. We acquired the best talent in the industry in just a week's time. It worked like a charm. Post the stablization of the project, we released 60% of the team. Nobody complained. That ws our light bulb moment! We realised that every company needs experts and they need them now. Being able to release or hire them on-demand is a bonus. And thus, GeekSquad was born!

Poor management, delayed salaries, and lack of proper process

Cons: No proper requirement documentation; QA is expected to test without clarity QA is not involved in requirement discussions or planning meetings Developers and PMs make decisions without including QA Blame is shifted to QA when bugs are missed due to unclear requirements Salaries are consistently delayed despite promised timelines (15th–20th) Salary delays are a regular issue, even for senior employees HR team is unresponsive and lacks professionalism No proper communication or accountability from management Poor time management and completely unstructured workflow

Pros: 1) Hybrid working in my core telecom industry at client side. 2) Employee benefits were revised after talking to new HR (Devyani) 3) Always great to have the US director in internal standup calls, helps gain a different insight on client work. 4) Working since past 6 months, initially was averse to join due to bad reviews at glassdoor, yet took a chance as the JD was good and then came to know that laid off employees copying and pasting same reviews.
Cons: Hope the directors in Pune, Bangalore and US do something about the glassdoor reviews.

Pros: I joined in year 2024 as a part of Team Geek Solutions product team Evaluate AI. Great work life balance. Trying new ideas is highly encouraged in the team. Company follows a flat hierarchy culture and supports open conversations. From CEO to Marketing head everyone is approachable and believes in mentorship and answering queries. Employee benefits such as complete health coverage etc. are also provided.
Cons: Until October 2024 there were few salary delays, but since then the process is streamlined and now it is always on time.

They first asked to me complete an assessment. there were total 9 questions and I answered 8 questions with near perfect Ans, the 9th question had a glitch on their end. I Informed about this to the HR, Next day I got a call saying you have cleared the assessment, there will be a technical interview , on joining the meeting the panelist did not came, hence the HR told me that she will reschedule. she stopped answering my calls and ghosted me for 2 days, later got a call back from her saying you did not meet the technical reequipments , like what the actual F. GG TGS.

I was really shocked that which company would do such a thing if they really want to test the candidate's coding ability the interviewer could have extended the time at least 15 to 30 minutes on the question, I was really disappointed by the company's interviewer behavior.
