2 rounds one with VP and one with a senior VP. After round 2, radio silence for 4 weeks with HR trying to keep me warm. In the end they offered the position to an internal candidate. Don’t recommend interviewing for this organization as all they do is interview people, waste their time and then give the position to an internal candidate

The interview outcome appeared to be heavily influenced by very narrow questions, particularly around database configuration in Spring Boot. One example was being asked about the hibernate.dialect property in the application configuration and being judged primarily on whether I knew this specific detail.
The interview process was divided into 2 rounds. There was no tech round . In the first round it more of a discussion about real life risk and second round was hr.

Interview process had two round of discussion and both round were very well managed. I had a very positive experience. Synchrony has lot of perks but unfortunately compensation could not be agreed upon. Recruitment team always responded promptly. Overall nice interview experience.
